Solent Mind also has services available to young people who need support with returning to school, as well as other struggles and anxieties.
Jamie says: “Our Heads Up service delivers workshops in schools in Hampshire.
“We also have our Upturn services which looks at working one to one with young people, and it is just an opportunity to talk about anything you might be struggling with, whether it is to do with school or going back to school.”
Heads Up workshops, assemblies and small groups are tailored to children and young people up until Year Six in the Southampton and New Forest area.
Our staff and volunteers can also support high schools, universities and community groups embarking on mental health or wellbeing projects for young people.
Upturn works with young people and their families in Fareham and Gosport through mental health support and education through classroom-based workshops, small groups, and one to one sessions.
