We’re here to make sure anyone with a mental health problem has somewhere to turn for advice and support.

We offer a range of high quality services that aim to improve mental wellbeing and we campaign to raise awareness and improve understanding of mental health.

We’re here so that no one in our diverse community has to face a mental health problem alone.

Join us for a sponsored Dog walk in Mayfield Park on the 19th September to raise funds for Mayfield Nurseries. Mayfield Nurseries is a working plant nursery and provides vital gardening and horticultural therapy to people with mental health problems in Southampton.
Solent Mind are offering free mental health courses for staff and volunteers who work in the Police, Fire, Search and Rescue, Ambulance and Coast Guard. Working in the Emergency services brings a unique set of pressures and people who work in these services are less likely to get support.
Solent Mind staff volunteered this weekend at Boom Town, a yearly music festival held on the outskirts of Winchester. Music festivals can be a fantastic experience, but can also be a time when people are at risk through drug and alcohol misuse.
It’s been a very busy few months at Solent Mind, Jane Harvey, Head of Home Support gives us an update on what’s been happening.
