Solent Mind - who are we?

We’re Solent Mind, the leading mental health charity across Hampshire.

We’re here to make sure anyone with a mental health problem has somewhere to turn for advice and support.

Solent Mind - our aims

We offer a range of high quality services that aim to improve mental wellbeing and we campaign to raise awareness and improve understanding of mental health.

We’re here so that no one in our diverse community has to face a mental health problem alone.

“Eastleigh Wellbeing Centre is one of the only places I come because here I’m not afraid of who I am. I can talk about anything – I know however I feel, it’s likely someone else is feeling the same.”

“The support and the resulting social opportunities Solent Mind have made available to me, have done more for me than years of medication. Truly, I owe them my life.”

“Attending Mayfield twice a week is something to look forward to and a reason to get out of bed in the morning. It makes me feel as though I am worth something.”

"When I first made contact with Solent Mind, I felt a huge wave of relief wash over me – it was as though everything was going to be OK and I was going to come out fighting. They gave me hope and without them, I might not be here today."
