HOLIDAY ENTITLEMENT

25 days annual leave rising incrementally to 30 days per year for staff on permanent full time or part time contracts and pro-rata for part time staff.

About the role    

Over the next year, we are expecting around 5 of our existing contracts to come up for re-tender.  We are determined to position ourselves to be in the best possible place to sustain these and support the mental health needs of our communities.  

Achieving this goal will require our services to actively demonstrate that they respond to the needs of both our communities and commissioners; meet both best practice guidelines and possibilities for greater service integration, whilst also delivering best value.  This role will help achieve this goal through identifying opportunities for service transformation.  As new service models and projects are developed, the role will also work alongside our operational Heads of Service to effectively and sustainably roll out change. 

About you                           

You have knowledge and understanding of working in the mental health space. An experienced change leader and project manager who is interested in working with us to improve future ways of working. A strategic thinker who can build partnerships and collaboration, but is just as comfortable getting into the detail and using data analysis and process mapping expertise to help services get ready for change. Ideally you will have tender experience (from working with the NHS).

About the role:

The Employment Advisor's role is to deliver the core employment support provision in NHS TT to provide employment advice, skills based interventions, information and practical support to help people who are looking to return to work or to retain their current employment.

The role will involve working with a caseload of clients with common mental health problems to provide interventions to enable them gain or retain their employment, exchange to a more suitable job role, or return to their current employment after a period of sickness absence from work.

You will work directly with Job Centre Plus, employers and employment agencies to keep people in employment and secure employment opportunities.

About you:

This would suit some-one with experience of providing high quality vocational/employment support and/or experience of working within an employee relations environment. If you have a sound understanding of the employment needs, barriers and difficulties faced by people with Mental Health conditions together with excellent IT skills, communication skills, both written and verbal this could be the role for you.

About the role

Solent Mind is a partner in the new Primary Level Mental Health Service covering Eastleigh Health Primary Care Network comprising Eastleigh Health Centre, Parkside Family Practice, and St Andrews. This service will enhance the support which GP practices are able to offer their patients with a range of mental health issues through a collaborative and integrative approach.

This service has been developed to enhance the mental health care which the GP’s are able to offer their patients through a collaborative and integrative approach across the three practices and associated services.

About you

As a Wellbeing Assessor, you will undertake assessments of patients in order to understand their individual needs and identify the most appropriate support for them, working collaboratively with other partners in the Primary Care Mental Health Service and associated organisations.

About the role   

Fareham and Gosport Wellbeing service is looking to recruit a PCN Wellbeing Advisor. To be based in PCN surgeries in the Fareham and Gosport Localities.

In this role you will hold a caseload of patients offering assessments & 1-1 sessions to help manage mental health Wellbeing. You will  attend meetings to enable patients to get the best service for them. You will support people to access groups and activities within our wellbeing centre and the community. You will use your skills and experience to work directly with people with mental health issues one to one settings, include telephone, face to face and online engagement, this may on occasion include group facilitation.

About you  

You will need to have a good understanding of a mental health issue, as well as experience of working with people with mental health needs, excellent communication skills and a strong understanding of the key difficulties and challenges faced by people on their recovery journey. You will need good IT skills and be able to navigate different IT systems.

About the role:

Step 2 and 3 of the NHS Talking Therapies Hampshire service is provided in partnership by Solent Mind (step 2) and Southern Health NHS Foundation (step 3). Qualified PWP’s are employed by Solent Mind to deliver support to step 2 patients.

This role involves attending the PWP training course at Southampton University whilst delivering assessments as well as evidenced-based low intensity CBT interventions for those with mild to moderate depression and/or anxiety disorders. The range of treatments you may provide would include one-to-one guided self-help via telephone & video, with the opportunity to offer face-to-face in addition to cCBT programmes, webinars, workshops and psycho-educational groups.

About you:

This position is ideal for someone who is enthusiastic about caring for and supporting people and looking to start/further a career in mental health services.

You will need to be highly motivated and resilient to cope with the demands of working in this large, high volume service whilst balancing your own studying.

You must have recent experience of working in a mental health setting OR have relevant life experience/ transferrable skills.
