Wellbeing is about feeling good on the inside and on the outside. It is something we all have and sometimes we need a bit of help to put us back on track. Everyone has their own way of dealing with the day to day pressures that life brings, whether that is baking, reading or playing sport. Each person is different, and that is what makes our Wellbeing Service so special.

Our Wellbeing Centres are very friendly and welcoming places with an informal atmosphere, offering people the opportunity to meet others with experience of mental health problems. Our activities are designed to help individuals towards recovery. We also offer private and confidential emotional support, and one-to-one help to raise aspirations, goals and ambitions. Our aim is to develop and reinforce people’s strengths while they try to achieve their goals in their journey towards recovery.
By working with Andover Mind and Havant & East Hants Mind, we can provide Wellbeing Services to people all over southern Hampshire.
You can be referred to the service by your GP or you can, if you wish, self refer to a Wellbeing Centre, just contact the one local to where you live and they will be able to tell you about their schedule and the services that they have available.

PositiveMinds is a new service for people who are living through low mood, anxiety, or who feel overwhelmed and helpless in face of problems such as money, housing, relationships, work, bereavement, leaving the Forces, or living away from home at university.
Solent Mind’s Wellbeing Advisors, who have experience of living with, and through, mental health issues will be available at the new site to provide practical advice, coping skills, and peer support, in partnership with colleagues from Solent NHS, Portsmouth City Council, and the voluntary sector.
