Solent Mind have joined DA Languages to help better support people who use our mental health and wellbeing services in Hampshire.
DA Languages is an interpretation service that enables people accessing support to get effective communication in their own language to ensure they are able to understand the information being provided.
Solent Mind insight and inclusion manager Josh Bailey said: “We recognise the diversity of languages spoken in our service areas and see this as absolutely essential to ensuring everyone feels comfortable and supported when accessing our services."
DA Languages will allow our services to use interpreters in over 450 languages including British Sign Language for both initial contacts as well as 1:1 sessions. If you use our services and think this would be helpful, please ask the member of our team supporting you and tell them the language you need to be interpreted.
Do you want support for your mental health? We're here for you. Visit 'Our Services' page to find out what's on offer.
