Suicide Awareness

Build the confidence to have life-saving conversations.

3 hours: remote or face to face

Overview

This session provides attendees with a better understanding of suicidal thoughts, behaviours and will give them the confidence to start a conversation with someone who may be feeling suicidal. All attendees will receive a pack containing resources and details of mental health services. 

Learning outcomes:

  • Be able to recognise potential factors that may lead to suicidal thoughts
  • Be able to begin a conversation about suicide
  • Be able to provide resources for appropriate support
  • Be able to take care of your own wellbeing when supporting someone else

Anyone who wants to gain a better understanding of suicide and the confidence to start those live-saving conversations.
