Mental Health Awareness

Improve your knowledge of mental health and wellbeing.

4 hours: remote or face to face


This session aims to give understanding of mental health and wellbeing. We’ll look at more common mental health diagnoses and treatment, to help attendees understand how someone experiencing mental ill health might feel. We’ll also examine ways of maintaining our own mental health and wellbeing.

Learning outcomes:

  • Understand what mental health and wellbeing is
  • Dispel stigma surrounding mental health issues
  • Recognise the signs of mental health and wellbeing
  • Be aware of common mental health conditions and treatments
  • Explore ways to support others
  • Examine ways of maintaining our own mental health and wellbeing
