Developing Mindfulness

A practical four-part programme offered digitally or face-to–face, teaching simple mindful practices and skills to apply to your daily routine.

Course overview

This class takes a more in-depth look at using mindfulness in your day to day life in order to manage difficult experiences and make wise choices. Students can take this course after completing our introductory course, 'Understanding Mindfulness'.

Learning Objectives

All students will be able to:

  • Identify at least one formal and one informal mindfulness practice.
  • Explore 2 specific mindfulness techniques.

Most students will be able to:

  • Explain how mindfulness can support recovery.

Some students will be able to:

  • Describe how they intend to continue their mindfulness practice.
