We're still here for you.

We've launched an out-of-hours helpline for anyone who is experiencing poor mental health or wellbeing challenges as a result of the Coronavirus pandemic.

Our experienced advisors will offer you support and ideas to help you to cope if you:

• are feeling anxious or low and want to talk to someone
• would like practical guidance on how to stay well at home
• want specific support, like benefit or bereavement services
• or, are caring for someone else and would like support.

Our help is available to everyone and you do not need to be receiving any other kind of mental health support to be able to call us.

The helpline is not a counselling or therapy service, but our wellbeing experts will be able to listen to you and offer information, signposting and bitesize support.

Monday – Friday, 8am-9am and 5pm-8pm
Saturday-Sunday, 9am-5pm

If you require support outside of these times, our Solent Mind services continue to be there for you. Please contact your desired service directly, or use our main number or email if you need advice on the most relevant service for you.

Important things to know:

Our helpline is not appropriate if you or a loved one is experiencing a mental health crisis. Please take a look at our urgent help page for information on immediate, 24/7 support.

The advice we offer is completely free, but the phone call itself will be charged at the local rate.

Our advisors will record information about your call, but we will not share it with anyone else outside of Solent Mind. We will only make an exception and contact appropriate authorities if we believe that you or anyone else is at immediate risk of harm.
