We are currently recruiting for a:

Community Peer Recovery Team Leader

Portsmouth Support & Recovery Service – ref: CPRTLJul18

Full Time (37 hours per week across 7 days, including some evenings and weekends)

Salary: £24,341 – £26,214 per annum.

The Community Peer Recovery Team (CPRT), based at St Mary’s Health Campus in Portsmouth will deliver support work to our clients in partnership with their secondary care practitioners. The CPRT will work with clients, in the community and in their homes to deliver support for both mental wellbeing and social care needs.

An exciting opportunity has arisen in the form of a Community Peer Recovery Team Leader post.  The post-holder will play an integral role in the recovery pathways of clients, working with Solent NHS staff to support those who are accessing secondary care to take control of their own recovery. Working on Support Plans with service users, you will support them to achieve their targets and goals on their road to recovery, providing practical and emotional support and, crucially, you will have your own lived experience of mental health issues and a recovery journey of your own to share. As Team Leader, you will lead a team of practitioners in achieving these goals through line management, coaching, supervision and mentoring as well as holding some cases of your own. Support with maximising benefits and maintaining/achieving tenancies, signposting and community navigation will form a part of this team’s role.
