On Tuesday 14th May the Deputy Mayor of Gosport, Councillor Keith Farr opened our new Gosport Wellbeing Centre. He was joined by staff and volunteers at a special celebration event at the new centre.
The new centre will offer a range of groups, workshops, courses and 1-1 sessions to help improve mental health and wellbeing. Including self esteem courses, anxiety management sessions, confidence building and many more. The centre will also offer a drop in service on weekday mornings (not including Wednesday) from 10 am – 12 pm.
Caroline Payne, Wellbeing Manager for Fareham and Gosport said ‘We were delighted Councillor Keith Farr could join us to mark the opening of such an important service for the local community in Gosport. The Wellbeing Centre aims to be at the heart of the community improving people’s wellbeing and giving them the tools to deal with mental health problems they face.’
