Southampton says NO to Mental Health Stigma
This October Southampton comes together to say that it’s time to change our attitudes towards people who have mental health issues. Around World Mental Health Day (Saturday 10 October) Southampton City Council are hosting a series of events to highlight stigma attached to those with mental health challenges and to look at ways we can all change our attitudes and beliefs on the subject.
In partnership with Time to Change, the organisation set up to champion an end to mental health stigma, organisations across the city from the public, private, voluntary and education sectors are pitching in to run some special events.
