It’s well known that regular exercise is good for our bodies – and there’s good evidence that being active improves our mental wellbeing. But having a mental health problem should never be barrier to being active or enjoying sport, which is why Mind has developed a new programme called Get Set to Go.

Try an activity – Women on Wednesday  –  throughout April local Minds are running taster sessions where women can have a go at a number of activities in friendly environments with support from Mind staff. Why not see if there’s one near you?(
