Local MP Suella Fernandes visited our Fareham Wellbeing centre on Thursday 27th of August. The visit gave her an opportunity to see the work of staff and volunteers at the centre first hand. Fareham Wellbeing centre offers a range of support to improve people’s mental health including one- to-one sessions, creative writing and art therapy. There are also a number of groups and workshops at the centre including mindfulness, managing stress, self esteem and healthy lifestyles.
Suella also met with Solent Mind’s Chief Executive Richard Barritt, and Wellbeing centre Manager Caroline Payne.
Caroline Payne said: ‘We were delighted Suella could join us to see our work in Fareham. The centre really is at the heart of the community and makes a very tangible different to the people who live here.’
