Solent Mind has been selected as a finalist in this year’s Winchester Business Excellence Awards.
Our Winchester wellbeing service is one of three organisations shortlisted in the Charity and Social Enterprise award category, and the winner will be announced at a special ceremony at Winchester Cathedral on Thursday 19 June.
The Charity and Social Enterprise award is designed to honour the charity or social enterprise that has made the most significant difference to people within the Winchester District.
Patricia Carvalho, Service Manager for Solent Mind in Winchester, said: “We are ensuring that people in Winchester experiencing poor mental health have somewhere to turn for advice and support, and to be selected as a finalist in these annual awards, is a great achievement.
“We want to raise awareness of our services, enabling us to expand our reach and continue making a difference. Being part of the final will not only enhance our visibility in the region, but it also recognises the hard work and dedication of our team of staff and volunteers.”
