Our annual quiz night fundraiser was a ‘spook-tacular’ success. Many of our supporters came along to enjoy a Halloween-themed evening of entertainment and collectively raised more than £5,000 for Solent Mind.

The fabulous Cherry Liquor returned as host and led a fun-filled evening of laughter, trivia and celebration at The Concorde Club in Eastleigh. Guests brought their knowledge and wit and came dressed in some frightfully fantastic costumes.

Sponsored by Morgan Sindall Construction & Morgan Sindall Infrastructure, the evening welcomed a mix of local businesses and groups of family and friends, and 33 teams competed through 5 rounds of questions to be named ‘Solent Mind’s quiz champion 2025’. And it was the ‘Plata-Geists’ from Bamboo and Plata Embedded Finance Group who took home the coveted winner’s trophy.

Cherry’s vibrant energy and comedy-timing had everyone laughing and cheering and her persuasive nature even had people dancing to the Time Warp! A Halloween-themed drawing contest brought in some amazing artwork, a raffle rewarded plenty of guests, and the best-dressed quizzers were given a special prize!

Thanks to the generous contributions raised through ticket sales and donations on the night, the evening will go towards supporting better mental health in Hampshire.

Sally Arscott, CEO, said: “Thank you to everyone who’s joined us for this amazing evening today and congratulations to this year’s winners! It has been great fun, and we truly are incredibly grateful. A big thank you to our wonderful sponsors, Morgan Sindall, and to Cherry for delivering another superb show!

“The money raised will mean our services can continue to support people across the region and promote positive mental wellbeing.”
