Open Day of wellbeing activities from PositiveMinds on September 7th.
PositiveMinds wellbeing service in Portsmouth is celebrating 'new beginnings' with an open day on September 7th.
Delivered in partnership with Solent Mind, Solent NHS Trust and Health & Care Portsmouth; PositiveMinds is a wellbeing and emotional support service led by peers who have their own lived experience of mental health issues.
On September 7th, between 12 and 7pm, the service will be hosting an open day in their office just a short walk from Portsmouth & Southsea station.
Christie Breen, PositiveMinds Service Manager, said: "The open day signifies a new beginning for the service, and a way for us to reach more people who need our support. Whether you are at the start of your mental health awareness journey, understanding your wellbeing maintenance needs, or just coming back from crisis or therapy; We're here for you."
"On the day you will meet some of our friendly team, be part of the mental health community in the heart of Portsmouth and be able to take part in a few wellbeing based activities."
The open day will include peers sharing their stories, a room where we will be guiding you through some grounding exercises and a chance to meet some of the other mental health services available locally.
You will also get the chance to book in your first appointment with PositiveMinds while you are there, or given the information in order to get in contact if you want to book at a later date.
The event will take place on the Wednesday, September 7th, between 12 and 7pm at 22 Middle Street, Southsea PO5 4BG.
