Solent Mind wins gold!

Solent Mind has been awarded the Investors in People Gold accreditation and is in the top 19 per cent of employers in the country to receive the award by Investors in People.

Investors in People have awarded Solent Mind the ‘We invest in people, gold accreditation’.

Gold accreditation means that you’ve got the policies in place but more than that, it means everyone – from CEO to front line workers takes ownership for making them come to life.

Only 19% of accredited organisations achieve Gold.

Solent Mind strives to support the mental health needs of people in Hampshire, to ensure everyone can access the mental health support they need. The company also ensures the wellbeing of staff is treated with the utmost importance.

Paul Devoy, CEO of Investors in People, said: “We’d like to congratulate Solent Mind. Gold accreditation on We invest in people is a fantastic effort for any organisation, and places Solent Mind in fine company with a host of organisations that understand the value of people.

Commenting on the award, Debbie Prince, HR Director, said: “It is fantastic for us to receive this award. People spend so much of their lives at work and it is important to us at Solent Mind that we create the type of organisation where people can have fulfilling careers and make a difference to the lives of the people we serve.”

Investors in People believes that the success of an organisation begins and ends with people. If we make work better for everyone, we make work better for every organisation. And if we do that… we make society stronger, healthier and happier.
