Workplace Wellbeing Open Training

We are offering out our workplace wellbeing training to self-employed people and small businesses who would not otherwise be able to make a group booking with us. All sessions will take place remotely via Zoom. Join our interactive sessions and take away some practical tools and techniques to improve your wellbeing at work.

Taking control of your Mental Health and Wellbeing

Thursday 21 Jan 2021 10:00-11:00, £30 per person

During uncertain times, all of us feel differently and cope in different ways. This hour long session will discuss Mental Health and Wellbeing and why is more important than ever to look after ourselves. We’ll explore ways to take control of your own Mental Health and Wellbeing whilst at work. We'll also take a look at what keeps you mentally well outside of the workplace. You'll have the chance to learn from others and share what works for you. You’ll leave the session with practical tools and techniques to help you stay in control.

Building Resilience to cope with stress

Thursday 21 Jan 2021 14:00-15:00, £30 per person

In this hour long session we will look at stress, its triggers and the power of resilience. With a focus on coping with stress in the workplace but with tips that will help outside of work as well. We’ll explore some practical techniques for how to build your own resilience and you’ll leave the session with a personal action plan.

Getting a better night's sleep

Tuesday 26 Jan 2021 9:30-10:30, £30 per person

Many of us struggle to get a good night’s sleep and this can really impact our work. Would you like to improve your sleep? If the answer is ‘Yes!’ this session is perfect for you! Join us for an hour long session which will examine sleep problems and science behind them. We’ll help you to understand sleep and why it’s so important. We’ll also give you some practical relaxation techniques and tips to help you sleep better.

An introduction to Mindfulness

Tuesday 26 Jan 2021 14:30-15:30, £30 per person

‘Mindfulness’ is a term most of us has heard of but many of us don’t really know what it actually means. This hour long sessions will challenge the misconceptions of what mindfulness is and how it can help us. We’ll explore some simple techniques that can be used in everyday life to promote your mindfulness and awareness of your own mental health.

Mental Health First Aid (MFHA) online training

£300 per person.

Become a Mental Health First Aider. Identify, understand and help someone who may be experiencing a mental health issue. This online course qualifies you as a Mental Health First Aider.

Solent Mind workplace wellbeing training is designed to provide self-employed people and small businesses with information, tools and techniques to support wellbeing. We won’t be able to provide one to one support or answer any personal mental health questions during these sessions.
