Whether it's losing loved ones, being made redundant, struggling with anxiety or feelings of loneliness, there have been a lot of things to compete with during the pandemic. At Solent Mind we are keen to show you that you're not alone and support is available.
We are running a free virtual event, hosted by Solent Recovery College, where a few people will share their wellbeing stories from the pandemic.
Since launching in 2013, the Solent Recovery College has helped over 2,000 people in Portsmouth learn more about their mental health through classroom sessions.
The main focus of this event will be coping with loss during the pandemic (not just loved ones, but also redundancy), the issues that surround balancing work and home-schooling, as well as dealing with anxiety during a global pandemic.
We will then share some practical tips and skills to give you some ways to cope with periods of low wellbeing during the pandemic, including tips on how to open-up and talk to loved ones or professionals about how you are feeling. The event will end with a short Q&A session.
If you would like to attend, please provide your details below and a member of the team will contact you with joining instructions. We look forward to seeing you there!
