Throughout the next 12 months our friendly Workplace Wellbeing Training Team are holding a series of free online sessions packed with ideas to help you manage your wellbeing in the workplace and to give you a taste of some of the training courses we have available.

Informed by the team's collective years of lived experience and professional expertise, each course is designed to support managers, employees, and individuals with wellbeing in the workplace, fostering compassionate and honest discussions about mental health.

Stress survival skills - Tuesday 2 December 2025, 11.00am - 11.30am

Stress is part of life - but building your resilience can help you to cope with pressure in healthy ways. In this free 30-minute session, we will guide you through the science of resilience and why it matters.

You’ll explore common stress triggers and touch on some practical techniques to build your own resilience.

Gimme 5! 5 Ways to Wellbeing - Thursday 15 January 2026, 12.30pm - 1.00pm

Looking for simple ways to boost your wellbeing? In this free 30-minute session, we will introduce the 5 Ways to Wellbeing - five evidence-based actions that can help improve mental health and wellbeing in everyday life.

You’ll explore how to:

  • Connect with others to build relationships
  • Be active to support your physical and mental health
  • Take notice and be present in the moment
  • Keep learning to boost confidence and self-esteem
  • Give to others to create a sense of purpose

A brief introduction to self-compassion - Wednesday 4 February, 9.30am - 10.00am

Self-compassion is a powerful tool for improving mental wellbeing. Research shows that higher levels of self-compassion are linked to greater happiness, optimism, and emotional resilience.

In this free 30-minute session, we will introduce the concept of self-compassion and explain why it matters. You’ll explore simple, evidence-based techniques to help you develop a more compassionate mindset and begin building a healthier relationship with yourself.

Navigating Menopause in the workplace - Monday 9 March 2026, 11.00am - 11.30am

Menopause can impact mental wellbeing in many ways. In this 30-minute session, we will help you understand the symptoms and effects of menopause and share practical tips to support better mental wellbeing.

This session is for everyone - whether you’re experiencing menopause yourself or want to support colleagues, friends, and loved ones through the transition. We’ll raise awareness about menopause and mental health, provide techniques for those experiencing symptoms, and offer ideas on how to support others.

Empower your team with Mental Health First Aiders - Tuesday 17 March 2026, 11.00am - 11.30am

Many organisations are strengthening wellbeing support with Mental Health First Aiders (MHFA's) - but what exactly do they do, and how can they help?

Data from MHFA England shows that 91% of people reported a better understanding of mental health after completing their Mental Health First Aider course. 

In this 30-minute session, we will explain the role of a Mental Health First Aider, the training involved, and how it can make a real difference to your business.

Journaling - what's all that about? - Thursday 23 April 2026, 11.30am - 12pm

Journaling can be a powerful tool for supporting your mental health and wellbeing. Whether it’s jotting down thoughts, doodling, or freewriting, getting your feelings onto paper can help reduce stress, manage anxiety, and improve focus and productivity.

In this free 30-minute session, we will introduce you to the benefits of journaling and how it can support your emotional wellbeing. You’ll explore different approaches to journaling and leave with practical ideas to help you get started - no experience or perfect handwriting required.

Managing anxiety - Wednesday 13 May 2026, 2.30pm - 3pm

Many of us will experience anxiety at some point in our lives, during this session we will talk about that feels like and explore ways to manage anxiety. In 30 minutes we’ll focus on tried and tested tips and techniques that you can take away with you to help improve your wellbeing.

Support through talk: closing conversations - Tuesday 11 August, 10am - 10.30am

Knowing how to start a conversation about mental health is important, but knowing how to close it well is just as vital. In this free 30-minute session, we will guide you through how to end supportive conversations in a way that feels respectful, reassuring and helpful.

You’ll explore how to:

  • Recognise when and how to close a conversation appropriately
  • Signpost to further support
  • Follow up with care and confidence
  • Avoid common pitfalls that can leave someone feeling dismissed or unsupported
