We know that getting active does great things for our mental health, so by taking on a challenge in aid of Solent Mind, you too will feel the benefits!

Our friendly fundraising team can give you ongoing help and support, collection tins, running vests and other useful promotional materials to help you reach your fundraising target. We can also give you advice and guidance on running events, raffles and collections, as well as help you spread the word about your fundraising efforts on our popular Facebook, Twitter and Instagram accounts.

Take on a Skydive

Take your fundraising to new heights with a once in a lifetime skydiving experience. Solent Mind has teamed up with challenge event specialists, Skyline Events, to bring you our most adventurous challenge yet – experience the thrill of a 10,000 ft tandem skydive. Whether you’re a regular adrenaline junkie or looking for a new and exciting challenge individually or as part of a team, nothing compares to a skydive.

What’s more, if you agree to raise a minimum of £395 for us, your skydive will be absolutely free!

Where and when can I take part in a skydive?
We have locations across the country where you can choose to do your skydive. You can choose a date and time that is suitable to you.

How do I register for a skydive for Solent Mind?

2.6 Challenge

Help to save the UK’s charities and join in with the 2.6 challenge. It can be doing any activity you like, from running 2.6km round your home to holding a home workout with 26 of your friends! Whatever your age or ability you can take part. After all, we are not looking for superheroes, we are looking for Home Heroes! Choose your #twopointsixchallenege and help support Solent Mind

Where and when can I take part in the 2.6 challenge?
Going live from Sunday 26th April 2020 you can join in at home, from your garden, or on your daily exercise outside (please follow all government guidelines on social distancing).

How do I take part to support Solent Mind?
Once you know what challenge you would like to do please visit the link below and select the fundraise button to create a Justgiving or Virgin Money page. Then use the search to find Solent Mind and select us as the charity you would like to support!

#MindYourHaircut

With hairdressers and barbers currently closed, why not take the chop at home? Support us by donating the cost of your haircut to Solent Mind or asking others to sponsor you as you create your new look!

Don’t forget to post a before and after picture to social media using the hashtag #mindyourhaircut

How do I get involved?
It’s really easy! Just head over to the #MindYourHaircut Just Giving page where you can leave a quick donation or click ‘Start Fundraising’ to set up your own personal donation page to share with followers!
