Thank you so much for participating in our
Mental Health Awareness Week 2019 campaign.
We’ve been blown away by your support and we hope you’ve enjoyed it as much as we have.
Although our campaign has now come to a close, you are still welcome to use our #onyourdoorstep signs below for workplace, classroom and other group activities whenever you’d like.
This Mental Health Awareness Week, help us signpost the places #onyourdoorstep that help your wellbeing.
Direct your community towards positive mental health by sharing an important place that helps to keep you well.
Print out and fill in one of our On Your Doorstep signs and share it in your community and online using the #onyourdoorstep hashtag.
What should I signpost?
…anything and everything on your doorstep that keeps you well!
It doesn’t have to be a place that’s commonly known to support mental health, or even have its own address; your sign can be completely personal to you.
Here’s some examples:
- Your favourite bench with a view of the sea
- A quiet breakroom at work
- Your local Solent Mind Wellbeing Centre
- Your favourite armchair at a welcoming café
- A local gym to sweat out your stress.
Where should I share my sign?
You can display your sign in your workplace, school or simply pose with it for a selfie on social media. You might also like to approach a shop, café or community space to display it in the window. Wherever you decide to place your sign, please make sure you ask permission first.
Once you’ve found the perfect spot for your sign, take a photo and post it online using the hashtag #onyourdoorstep.
Please don’t create litter. When it’s time to take your sign or poster down, please recycle it.
You can type out your signpost or grab a pen to complete it by hand.
