The Solent Recovery College's tailored courses are led by other veterans, who use their own experiences to teach subjects such as Understanding and Coping with PTSD, Supporting Veterans and Adjusting to Civilian Life.

Our courses aren’t therapy; instead they offer a new way to learn new skills in an educational environment and empower you to take control of your recovery journey.

For me, when I realised my mental health was an illness and not a weakness, that is the point I went about trying to change my perception of what was wrong with me.

I’ve had the pleasure and honour of working alongside Barry. The compassion and hope he gives to everyone is inspiring.
