Thank you to the staff team in the Psychological Medicine Unit based at The Princess Ann Hospital, who held a mental health awareness day for World Mental Health Day on Oct 10th. The unit held a raffle with donated prizes and raised a brilliant £100 for Solent Mind. Lucy Henbest, Alison Kelly and Crystal Sweed, pictured here handing over their donation, told us, they wanted to raise money for Solent Mind as they refer people to our services regularly and understand how vital the support that we give is to people experiencing problems with their mental health.

Thank you to Itchen College who's fantastic recording of live bands playing on their College Radio was sold to raise money for us. The CD called ON AIR has so far raised over £300 and is available to buy directly from Itchen college. Staff and students chose to raise money for Solent Mind after realising that almost everyone at the college knew someone who was experiencing mental health difficulties.
