Mental Health film night

Wednesday, 29 November 2017

This Friday at THE REGAL Cinema Fordingbridge will have an evening of films to promote awareness of Mental Health issues:

Good Morning Vietnam Fri 1st Dec 6:30pm
Set in Saigon in 1965, during the Vietnam War, Robin Williams stars as a radio DJ on Armed Forces Radio Service, who proves hugely popular with the troops, but infuriates his superiors with what they call his “irreverent tendency”.

One Flew over the Cuckoo’s Nest Fri 1st Dec 8:55pm
Jack Nicholson stars as a convict who simulates mental illness in the hope that a transfer to psychiatric hospital might ensure his early release. But he hasn’t bargained for the rigid regimen of Nurse Ratched (Louise Fletcher) who dislikes his disruptive – though he’d say liberating – effect on the ward.

This evening is in association with Solent Mind, the leading mental health charity across Hampshire.

The Regal Cinema operates as a cinema club.  For more information about becoming a member and booking tickets please visit www.theregalcinema.org
