In partnership with Southern Health NHS Foundation Trust we deliver the italk service, which is one of the largest Improving Access to Psychological Therapies (IAPT) services in the country providing Step 2 and Step 3 therapies respectively across Hampshire.
italk is a free to access NHS commissioned service for people aged 16 and over with mild to moderate mental health conditions such as depression and anxiety, which includes obsessive compulsive disorder, phobias, panic attacks and post-traumatic stress disorder.
We are currently recruiting for a Clinical Manager – Psychological Wellbeing Practitioner (PWP) Lead - Ref: CMPWPjan18
Salary: circa £42,000 per annum
Full time - 37 hours per week, Based in Eastleigh with regular days in Basingstoke and Fareham/Gosport
In this role you will assist the Clinical Director in the operational and clinical implementation of the Hampshire Psychological Therapies Service within the West Clinical Commissioning Group (CCG), North CCG, South East CCG and Fareham & Gosport CCG areas NHS Hampshire has commissioned.
You will provide clinical leadership and operational management of the day to day running of the Step 2 Service, including ensuring clinical governance arrangements are in place. You will maintain links with and report back to Solent Mind Senior Management Team and Trustee Boards, using the integrated reporting framework.
In addition, you will contribute to the overall operational management of the IAPT service and primary care service developments across Hampshire in line with national programme targets and system transformation requirements in the primary care setting and have designated lead roles to be agreed with Clinical Director.
You must hold a Post graduate PWP qualification or equivalent and have experience of working in an IAPT service, with demonstrable supervisory and managerial experience at Senior PWP level or equivalent. You will need to demonstrate experience of day to day operational service management.
